🎬 Task Overview
You will take a short movie clip from Home Alone and replace some of the original voices using pre-recorded voice lines.
Provided Materials in a zip file (Google Drive)
- Movie clip (original audio)
- 5 pre-recorded voice lines

Make sure to copy the file to your Audacity folder and unzip the files there.
Assignment Checklist:
☐ Replace the original voices
Replace the original voices of Kevin’s family with the 5 pre-recorded voice lines from the zip file you downloaded
☐ Add 3 sound effects (minimum) 🔊
Use at least one SFX from the Padlet Soundboards: 9/10 or 11/12. You can also use sound effects from websites like Pixabay.
☐ Replace Christmas Music
Remove the Christmas music and replace with music of your choice (using Pixabay or another royalty-free website)
- If using music across the entire track, apply Audio Ducking
- If only using music during specific sections of the clip, make sure to add a Fade In and Fade Out. Select the part of the clip you want to apply a fade to. Then go to: Effect > Fading > Fade In or Fade Out
☐ Add 1-3 other effects
Add to various clips on the track (Example: Delay, Echo, or Reverb)
☐ Export Finished File
Save your file and make sure to Export as WAV or MP3 and place the exported file in your hand in folder!
